Over the past two decades it has become a hybrid . It is now listed in worship planning journals as Palm-Passion Sunday . My take on this It's because Christians have become lazy . They are much more stingy with their time than in former eras . In recent years , Holy Week services have become less important . Fewer Chrisitians are willing to walk the last days in Christ's footsteps . They neglect to observe Maundy Thursday--the celebration of the First Holy Communion
